Artful: A Fun, Colorful Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani
The gorgeous new Artful title Perspextive is perfect for documenting your artsy and crafty pursuits. I chose to use this gorgeous title to document my friend's daughters' recent art projects at their homeschool co-op. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so products look a bit larger on my layouts.

This title piece is truly beautiful, combining two awesome fonts. This title, from the Artful pack comes with two stunning titles. I love the bold black, as it goes with any color scheme, and it looks especially striking with the bright, happy colors I used on my layout. I used a sketch from last year's International Scrapbooking Day challenge. You can see another layout I made with this sketch, along with the sketch, here.

I started my layout by creating a colorful background with the Distressed Grid Fox Cut Stencil #113, brushing several Distress Inks to coordinate with the products I'd be using. I added yellow polka-dot paper to either side of my layout, cut out a colorful dot border from an old Provocraft paper, and adhered a second border created with the Fox Dies #21 Office Borders. The project the kids made was called The Color Monster, and I stamped some monsters to add to my page for a touch of fun and whimsy. To go with the art theme, I used some Paintbrush die cuts from Vicki Boutin's Discover and Create Collection and added some paint splats using the Splatters Fox Cut Stencil #86. And of course I needed to add a heart (because I always add hearts to the layouts I give away). The black heart is from the Monochrome Hearts pack, which comes with a generous handful of black and white hearts in various sizes and shapes, and forms a visual triangle with the other black Perspextives on my page.

I used View Master Reels from Fox Dies #17 to add another layer behind my pictures. Backing the reels with black cardstock adds unity to the other black elements on my layout. The crayons were fussy-cut from a Pebbles Cool Girl paper.

I sprinkled some star Perspextives from the Oh My Stars pack around the page to form another visual triangle.

A palette die cut, paint brush die cut, and a couple more monsters formed a third cluster in the bottom left corner of my layout. Some star Perspextives add dimension to the flat die cut.

I had so much fun making this layout, and I hope I've inspired you to grab these awesome products and scrap! Be sure to check out all the other new goodies in the shop.
