A Real Hoot | Debbi Tehrani

Hi, everybody! Today I'm sharing a cute layout featuring goodies from the November Fox Box + as well as a bunch of other Bramble Fox products. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look a bit larger on my pages.

I started off my page using the gorgeous chevron stencil from the November Fox Box Plus. I used a blending brush and three colors of Tim Holtz distress ink to make the background. I found this adorable photo of my friend's son wearing an owl hat and knew I had to use the title piece and one of the cute owls from the November Fox Box. I was also able to use an owl from the October Fox Box since the color went really well with the paper I was using.

Speaking of paper. I've had this owl paper in my stash from a kit I got years ago and wondered if I'd ever use it, but it was perfect for this layout. The owls in the paper coordinated well with the title piece and some of the Paper Snips in the kit. I added a border at the top in coordinating cardstock and some stitching.

How fun is that pocket? I made it with Fox Dies #13 | Pocket Zip, which also comes with a ric-rac die and a super cool zipper die. I added some copper brads to the pocket and tucked in some labels I die cut from Fox Dies #6 | Tags. I adorned it with a flair embellishment I made with Epoxy Flair Stickers and a circular element from the Paper Snips in the Fox Box. Because I always add hearts to the pages I give away, I searched my stash and found a navy blue heart from the Hearts Special Edition pack and added that to the embellishment cluster. The maroon mesh element behind the photo was made with Fox Dies #4 | Barbed Wire.

I was able to add some journaling on a label I cut out of the Paper Snips. The sweet lantern is also from the Paper Snips. The owl Perspextive is from the November Fox Box too. I made some barbed wire to embellish the bottom cluster using Fox Dies #4 | Barbed Wire. I created the leaves using the Fox Cut Stencil #47 | Leaves & Branches and 3 different colors of Tim Holtz Distress ink and a blending brush. Then I drew some veins on the leaves and fussy cut them and scattered them around my page. I love this stencil because I can make endless embellishments and customize them in any colors I want! I added some stamping at the end to finish things off.

If you have not yet subscribed to the Fox Box, what are you waiting for? There are so many benefits to subscribing. Not only do you get a bunch of beautiful Perspextives, but you also get exclusive pieces that you wouldn't otherwise be able to get, an inspirational FoxZine, and 15% discount in the shop.
