Summer Memories | Guest Designer Cheryl Gerhard
Hi there friends. We are so lucky to have a fabulous guest designer this month - Cheryl Gerhard. I have been stalking her on Instagram (@cherylgerhard) because she makes pretty little projects.
Cheryl created a cute little suitcase for her first project. The suitcase is a matchbox style case which slides open to reveal its contents.
She has decorated the outside with the Sunshine Perspextive - making it a perfect title for her project. She has also added a few hearts from the Hearts Galore set. This set has a variety of hearts in different colours and designs. A real random mix of goodness!
In her next project, Cheryl has created the most adorable tag book of her travels to Portugal to fit inside the suitcase. She has added more hearts to the cover plus the cute pineapple from the Fruit Salad set.
The inside pages are die cut photos with cut layers on top.
The adorable sun is from the Mini Suns set which is available as Opaque (used here) or as Frost which is translucent allowing your papers to be seen.
Look how adorable this shaker pocket is?! Cheryl created the pocket by sewing the edges of the acetate tag together then adding a pink sequin mix plus the adorable Cherries & Berries - these are available in Transparent (used here) or Frost.
I love this cute little project which is so bright and tactile. Thank you so much Cheryl!
I do hope that you feel inspired to make a little summer project of your own.
Thanks for stopping by.
