Quarantine Memories | Virginia
Hi friends, I am back with a new project to share with you.
I created a layout about the quarantine we are living in and I used a couple of photos of myself with a cloth mask (at the beginning it was impossible to find the filtering ones or even the surgical ones here in Spain, so we could only rely upon home-made cloth masks).
I started off with a white cardstock sheet on which I did a bit of mixed media using a sparkling light blue and a peachy-pink ink. I pulled out the lovely “Twilight” collection by One Canoe Two and I fussy cut a bunch of flowers and leaves from one of the papers. I combined them with some die cuts to create a big flower cloud, in the middle of which I nested my photos. I also included two tags behind the photos, to which I tied a piece of floss in the same colours as the tags.
I created a banner on the top of the page with patterned paper and die cuts. I really love how it defines the border of my composition. I included a few gorgeous acrylic pieces by Bramble Fox, in particular a big light blue house with hearts and two little ones, as well as a blocky arrow in the same color. I put the white “take note” phrase acrylic on the top right corner together with a cute pink typewriter.
Finally, I used puffy letters to write my title, which simply is “Quarantine memories”.
This finishes up my project, I hope you like it. Do not forget to visit the Bramble Fox online store for new coming products. See you.
