Hello Blossoms | Debbi Tehrani
Hey, Foxy Friends! I'm here to share a layout I made celebrating our beautiful Kwanzan cherry tree, using the gorgeous translucent butterflies. Since I scrap 8 x 8, the Perspextives always look a little larger on my layouts.
When spring arrives, and the trees in my neighborhood begin blooming, I always have a little bit of regret for having bought a Kwanzan cherry for our front yard, because while all the neighbors' trees are in full bloom, our tree stands mocking us, a skeleton of bare sticks. But one day, our tree bursts with lush pink blooms, and the regret goes away because now our tree is the only one with blossoms, the neighbors' trees now blossom-less.
I used Pinkfresh Studio's Noteworthy collection and pulled out the pinks and purples to create my layout. I started by adding watercolor to the background in a pinkish-purple shade to match my paper.
Next, I layered to pieces of a free Paper Issues cut file, some diecuts and some flowers cut from one of the Noteworthy papers. Don't you just love the translucent Perspextives?
I used a cursive word Perspextive from a previous Fox Box for my title. I added gray Nuvo drops on my layout to tie in with this gray word.
The purple butterfly Perspextive perfectly matched my page.
Whenever Bramble Fox makes frosted, translucent Perspextives, you'll want to snatch them up because they are so beautiful and so unique among all the scrapbooking embellishments you can find!
I'd love to see how you use the Bramble Fox butterflies. Please be sure to share your creations in the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group.
Until next month...
