Craft Happy!

Hi there Foxy Friends!

During lockdown I am taking the opportunity to do all sorts of crafty exploits that under normal circumstances I would probably never have got around to doing! I'm very lucky that I have a dedicated craft space to call my own and it really is my happy place where I can create as much mess and havoc as I want and it doesn't matter!

I'm sharing a 12x12 layout today using a cut file and the 'craft happy' perspextive from the Craft Happy set.

I was inspired by Steffi Ried to create a swirly stitched border using some multi coloured embroidery silks (3 strands) in my favourite shades of pink, turquoise and blue. I quickly hand drew the swirly border trying not to worry about it being too precise! I knew I wanted to embellish using the sweet little pink scissors and turquoise sewing machine that I had left over from the Create Mess Havoc Art pack.

I backed the cut file and used Distress Oxide inks to colour the letters, I added a selection of tags from my stash around my photo. Incidentally I had tidied my room knowing it was going to be on show!!

I can always find room to add a petite perspextive or two!

I wouldn't be me if I didn't add a few paint splatters!

Do keep checking out the store as there are lots of new goodies coming soon that are ideal for documenting these challenging and difficult times we find ourselves in.

I'll be back next month with another project so until then, Stay Safe, Stay Home and happy scrapping

Philippa xx
