Hello Blue Skies!

Hi foxy friends! It's Wendy here sharing a LO relating to lockdown and isolation, using the gorgeous perspextive ' Hello Blue Skies' from the April Foxbox. Following the absence of planes in the sky I noticed how bright and blue our skies have been. We live on the flight path to Gatwick and it is so strange not to see planes over head but so beautiful too seeing the beautiful blue skies.

I used Pink Fresh Studio Noteworthy collection and gutted the 12x12 sheet enchanted blooms to make the border and then spent a long time fussy cutting all the flowers from the remainder of the sheet.

I used some distress oxides to create the mixed media background. Then I arranged all the cut flowers along the edge of the photo. I backed my photo and raised it on sticky fixers and then added the perspective beside it.

I then made another small cluster to balance the page. I finally added a few enamel dots here and there in the flowers.

This LO came together quite easily after the fussy cutting and I was pleased with how it looked.
