Happy Days traveler’s notebook spread with Virginia
Hi Foxy friends, Virginia here with a new project and a process video to share with you. For this one, I created a quite simple spread in my traveler’s notebook and I used the lovely light bulbs included in the February Fox Box (yes, it’s true, I love light bulbs! :D).
I covered the left side of the spread with beautiful pattern paper – full of colourful cameras – and I also added a strip of it along the external edge of the right page. I backed my two photos with white cardstock, so that they could stand out better against the busy pattern, and I glued them down. I left the right side of the spread quite minimalistic: I embellished it just with three die cuts.
I placed the two light bulbs, which also make as a title for my project (“Happy Days”), on the left page and then I spread around them a few stars in mint, white, yellow and dark pink. As a final touch, I stitched a little string on top of the two light bulbs, so that it looks as they were hanging from the ceiling.
As you can see, this traveler’s notebook spread is very easy and took little time to make, nevertheless it looks cool thanks to the lovely Bramble Fox Perspextives! I hope you liked my project. You can find a process video for it on the Bramble Fox Youtube channel.
This is all for now. If you love acrylic pieces as I do, do not miss the next Fox Box! See you,
Virginia
