London | Honey & Spice - Heidi Swapp
I hope that you all had a lovely Valentine's day, however, my layout this week has nothing to do with Valentines!
I have used the Honey & Spice Collection by Heidi Swapp which I hadn't really looked at before, however, when I saw it in real life I thought it was gorgeous! The colours are dark and they complimented the photos taken on a very dreary day in London.
I started with my background - I used a new honeycomb stencil - Fox Cuts #9. This will be a great stencil for so many layouts - I love the tiny detail. I used coloured texture paste and also drew around the stencil with fine liner to give a faded look.
I also repeated this effect with the stencil below my title. The London title was backed with patterned paper before I added on the Hello die-cut. I couldn't resist the new little butterflies in the shop so that had to go on my layout too!
I layered the fussy cut flowers with ephemera and another butterfly - just love the coral colour! I am also a sucker for little arrows, so the new XO arrows are perfect to add to a photo.
There are lots of new stencils and new designs in the shop this month.
I have used some these on layouts and some were used on class layouts. To see a round up of my layouts and new products, check out my video on the Bramble Fox YouTube channel:
Thanks for stopping by.
