Lovely | February Fox Box

I have been playing with the February Fox Box which has a fabulous mix of goodies including some very sweet designs that are perfect for Valentine's day. As we are not lovey dovey in our house, I've used them on a layout about my daughter instead.

To begin with, I wanted to add some texture and interest to the gorgeous teal background paper using some stamps and texture paste. I created this border using ephemera from the Happiness Collection - Cocoa Vanilla. The cute little envelope Perspextive has space for a small sticker or gem :)

I stitched the border for more texture before adding more ephemera and the xoxo Perspextive.

Under the photo area, I stamped various images and added some ink through a stencil. I layered ephemera around the photo. There are 4 totally cute, 'xoxo' designs in the set. A perfect size to add here and there.

My favourite elements in this set are the little jar and locks. To bring out some of the detail in the jar, I wiped white acrylic paint onto the jar and then wipe the rest of the jar clean before I tied a lock around the middle.
