‘Let’s create together’ layout with Virginia

Hi friends, Virginia Greco here with you today. This is my first post as a member of the 2020 Bramble Fox DT and I am very excited to be here! I love playing with the Perspextives, which add dimension and fun to every project! And you?

My layout of today is dedicated to my (our :)) passion: scrapbooking. I used a photo of myself at a trade show -- called Creativa -- which took place in Barcelona, where I live, earlier this autumn. I got the idea of creating a sort of colourful (craft)room, from the ceiling of which lots of lumps hang. I used the adorable Lightbulb Love Perspextives, in a vibrant yellow, and I added a light bulb wood veneer as a frame for my photo.

I love to include stitching in my projects, so I did it here again. :) I used chain stitching to create the cords for the lamps. I also did a bit of mixed media on the background with watercolours, to make the light bulbs stand out – and because I love bright colours.

I also fussy cut a bunch of flowers and words, related to my creative hobby, and glued them around the light bulbs and their cords. A foam alpha title, sitting on a “chain banner”, finishes up my project.
