Awesome Day | Vicki Parker

Hi everyone, it's Vicki today with my final layout using the July Fox Box. I love the frosted perspextives, so I couldn't wait to use this one and as I've been away with my hubby in our camper for a week, I have lots of new photos too!

I started with a plain white cardstock background and a piece of Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope paper torn about two thirds down leaving just the blue sky background. I had a background that I'd started for another layout using some texture and Lindy's Magicals but didn't use because it wasn't quite right, so I took the opportunity to punch circles out of it with my circle punches - waste not want not right?

I arranged the circles across the page and stuck them down. I then started to layer up my photo with some fussy cut flowers from a Simple Stories Sunshine & Blue Skies paper and some other Color Kaleidoscope chipboard stickers and embellishments cut from the cut apart sheet.

I also stamped a few sentiments and did some blue and white splatters, but the star of the show is the perspextive which finishes the layout perfectly I think.

I hope my layout gives you some inspiration and I am loving seeing what everyone else is making with the July Fox Box! Until next time, here's one final close up. Happy summer and don't forget to 'escape the ordinary'!
