Creating Art

Don't know about you but I just love taking a sheet of white cardstock & making a messy, arty background that's exclusive to me. I can choose my fave colours & add as much or as little as I want & cater it to match any embellishments.

With this in mind I started creating the background for this layout, first adding 2 colours of acrylic paint, brayering them on & then going over that with stencils, stamps & ink splatters.

Another of my things is adding texture, so on this page I've messily sewn on some tulle, added stamped text circles & some gold leaf trim ( which Morag hated when I got it but now I bet she secretly wishes she had some!!!)

The perspextive I've used is the ' Create Art' but I chose to just use the art part as I thought it went better on my page & I'll keep the create part for another layout.
