Dude With Tude!
Hi Fox friends, Giselle here with a new boy themed layout. There are lots of scrapbooking papers and embellishments for girls mostly in pink and flowery designs, so I'm always happy to find things related to boys - this Perspextive is perfect!
To begin my design I stamped some horizontal lines and ink splats along the lower half of the page, then I tore some strips from Pinkfresh Studios Out & About collection. I glued these in place and curled the top edges. If you like the look of torn edges but are wary of ruining a sheet of paper, just moisten the paper where you want it to tear, using a thin paintbrush dipped in water. This helps to break down the fibres and you'll get a more accurate line.
I backed my photo with black cardstock and patterned paper and tucked it beneath the strips of paper, to the right just off centre.
I added the Perspective at the same height as the photo for balance. I love the deep,
rich colour of this Perspextive!
Then I raided my stash for lots of boy embellishments and appropriate word stickers. These I added along the patterned paper either side of the photo and finished the page with a label sticker for the date on the right side of the photo.
I drew a wiggly line with a grey pen around three sides of the layout to finish it off.
Don't forget to share your Bramble Fox layouts on our Facebook page, we would love to see what you create. And do check out the shop for more boys themed goodies!
Until next month, happy scrapping everyone!
