Mixing it Up

Hey there foxes. Do you hoard pretty papers and goodies from different collections? I know that I do! Even though i have enough patterned paper to wallpaper a large building, I still can't resist pretty paper.

One thing I'm often asked is how to put patterns together. In this example, I've used 4 different patterned papers. Using a simple design, I angled a couple of papers to create a bit of drama. It was also a great place to add ephemara from various collections too.

To anchor the main photo (of my very cute dog), I splodged some Picked Raspberry Distress ink using the packaging technique. I then samped in the same colour or black for a confetti look.

The beautiful monochrome flowers were fussy cut from My Mind's Eye (Gingham Farm) collection. The black really makes the other colours pop.

Layer up your die-cuts, papers, trinkets to add detail and interest. I backed the Story Arrow with paper for a bit of extra pop.

The Rose gold Perspextives are just incredible - they are so pretty - a perfect compliment to a pretty dog picture! By the way, this is a Snapchat filter as Mack will not wear a hat without sulking :)

Be sure to check back in the shop as the Rose Gold pieces are being restocked shortly. Look out for lots of new things in the shop next month too.

See what's new here.

Thanks for stopping by.
