Uplifting Inspiration

Hey, it's October already?! How did that happen so quickly? I've been playing with the new Fox Box kit for October. Things are a little different this month as there are multicolour sets inside.

This month's Perspextives are designed to add a little pizazz to so many project themes and styles.

I used Willow Lane from Crate Paper. Fussy cutting is still a favourite of mine so I cut out the flowers and grouped them into a kind of frame.

It's a really good idea when cutting out flowers, etc. to bend the paper to add more texture. It really adds dimension and interest to your page. Layer your pieces so that they overlap - tuck in extra leaves or flowers where you can.

I LOVE the little balloons. You don't need to be celebrating anything but they certainly add a touch of imagination to a layout. So I teamed the balloons with one of the embellishments - it's so cute that the little panda is holding the balloons.

There are 2 exclusive banners in this month's kit. They are a great way to dress up a corner or bring attention to a photo. Add a sticker, rub-on or you can even stamp onto a Perspextive using Stazon ink.

There are tiny jewellery style tags going into the shop this month. They are a fab way of adding a little detail with twine or ribbon.

I tucked in other hand cut elements, stickers and chipboard elements to really add texture to the border.
