'Love Today' Layout
Hello everyone, hope this finds you well :)
Nicola here with you today sharing a wreath style layout I created using the 'Love Today' perspextive which came in the August Fox Box.
For this one I started by stamping a variety of flowers from a BoBunny stamp set along with 2 different butterfly stamps, one by Finnabair the other is unbranded ( I believe it came with a magazine a long time ago).
Next, I watered down some distress inks in colours shaded lilac, picked raspberry and peacock feathers and used the packaging technique to create varying splodges of colour over my stamped images. I used the same technique in mowed lawn for the leaves and left to dry.
I then drew some large circles on my 12x12 white cardstock approximately where I wanted my wreath to go and spritzed around the circle, sprinkled both 'sea green' and 'lemon' Brusho around the circles and set aside to dry.
I then went back and fussy cut all of the flowers, butterflies and leaves and curled the edges slightly to give them dimension. I also went and backed my photo on to a paper from the 6x6 glitter girl paper pad and glued the perspextive to another co-ordinating paper from the same collection to help it stand out against the white cardstock background.
Finally, I positioned my photo and perspextive and started gluing all of the fussy cut pieces around the wreath and finished off with a few wooden stars, gold splatters, tiny words and phrases.
I hope this layout inspires you to use up some of your gorgeous perspextives or even to pop to the shop to stock up, either way remember to share your layouts over on Bramble Fox Friends facebook group for us all to see, we're a friendly bunch!
Enjoy the rest of your week :)
