Guest Designer | Rachel Lowe

The first guest designer for this month is Rachel Lowe from Australia. Rachel’s eye-catching designs caught our attention on Instagram.

Rachel says that her style is contemporary/classic - "I love to use clean lines, negative space, embellishment clustering, sewing on my layouts and using cut files!"

Her first layout this month certainly reflects her style and great eye for balance and colour.

‘Shine Bright’ is one of the original Bramble Fox designs and still one of the most popular.

“I love using die cuts on my layouts. I cut a simple star design several times and arranged them into a Christmas tree. I like to finish off my layouts with stitching to give it that special touch”.

We asked Rachel to tell us a bit about herself. Here's what she had to say...

I am nurse, and a mother of four great kids!

I have been scrapbooking for 10 years now but I am also a lover of all things paper including making cards and ‘pretty paper stuff’ and I am also a keen photographer.

Scrapbooking brings calm and balance to my hectic life. The connections made through scrapbooking are a real added bonus – it’s great to see creations from all over the world and sharing my work with my internet friends.
